POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Title: Loss Prevention Officer, Plain Clothes
Location: Vienna, Virginia

Salary: Base $31,000-$33,000 without overtime, + comprehensive benefits and service programs that include a wide range of plans designed to enhance the quality of life for employees and their families. Security Management Resources, Inc. is conducting a search for one immediate opening for the following position in behalf of our client, a high end prestigious retailer.
.Position Responsibilities
Assist management in opening and closing procedures in store. Monitor daily activities on sales floor. Strong understanding of customer service standards as they relate to acting as a deterrent for loss prevention. Act as a visual deterrent to shoplifting, robbery, and dishonest employee activity. Assist with special events, conveyances and investigations if necessary. Ensure branch staff and systems are in compliance with client’s security standards. Store hours are Monday-Wednesday 10-6, Thursday 10-8, Friday-Saturday 10-6, and Sunday 12-5. Candidates must be available to work within these hours.
Applicants must currently reside in commuting distance.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:

•1 year prior experience in Security/Loss Prevention/Law Enforcement necessary
•Previous retail operations, luxury goods a plus
•Strong decision making, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills are needed
•Dependability, proper business appearance
•Ability to communicate with customers and employees
•Basic Computer skills
•Must pass drug testing and in depth background investigation
