SOLIDWORKS Drafters Designers and Detailers

We are currently seeking solidworks designers, drafters and detailers for several different positions. Below are the job descriptions for two of our available positions to give you an idea of what we may have available.

Job Desc. # 1

Client needs a design/detailer with experience in solidworks to do work on light gauge stainless steel, tanks, and to work in the thermal insulation department. It is critical that the candidates have 3D experience to capture components from nuclear reactors, including top heads, etc. Looking for a take the job and run with it kind of person.

Job Desc # 2

Looking for a solidworks mechanical designer/drafter. Solidworks is a must, AutoCAD is a plus. The client is a leading manufacturer of process cooling equipment for industries worldwide. The company designs and manufacturers the latest innovations in the industry for a wide range of process cooling solutions from off-the-shelf models to integrated customized systems.

The responsibilities for this position include:

- Under the direction of an engineer, defines concepts and creates drawings using CAD for the development of standard and custom product designs for use in production, sales estimates, sales literature, and service manuals.
- Builds basic bill of materials structures for both standard product and custom job releases.
- Coordinates the release of jobs by providing drawings and notes to production.
- Provides shop support for the development of new products, building of customer units, and product maintenance.
- Works with Purchasing and product vendors to provide specifications and drawings.

REQUIREMENTS
