SENIOR IT CONTRACTS SPECIALIST

Bloomberg's Purchasing Department has an open position for a Senior IT
Contracts Specialist whom will work with Technology department managers.
Responsibilities include leading procurement projects with the ability to
interpret, amend and negotiate favorable contractual terms with suppliers,
develop strategic sourcing strategies, create formal bid packages, validate
pricing against industry standards and perform bid response analyses.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess an understanding of various hardware and software
technologies, professional services engagements, and have strong project
management skills. In addition candidates should maintain strong
interpersonal and presentation skills, superior relationship management,
the ability to multitask, and a good sense of prioritization and
familiarization with corporate budget process. Knowledge of SAP or other
ERP systems a plus.

Bachelor's degree and 5+ yrs exp. in a corp purchasing env't required
