SDRC Senior Designer

Senior SDRC Designer Wanted Immediately!!!!!!!!

Senior SDRC Designer Responsibilities:
- Checking drawing/design packages for proper content and to ensure compliance with applicable industry and military standards

- Duties will include checking designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication and be able to perform tolerance analysis

- Liaison with Engineering, Manufacturing, quality, and Materials. Some vendor liaison will be requried as well.

- Should have a strong background in packaging of airborne electronics and equipment, mechanical design, cabling and sheet metal fabrication.

- Extensive experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5M-1994.

- Working knoweldge of ASME Y14.100 and Mil-Standard 100

- Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately while under intense schedule pressures and exhibit a large degree of patience.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED, plus a minimum of fifteen (15) years related experience

- Must have the ability to obtain an FOUO (For Official Use Only) clearance

- Must have extensive experience checking drawings and performing fit checks and have a solid understanding of ASME Y14 and Mil STD 100

- Working knowledge of SDRC Ideas Master Series Rev 9M3 is desirable
