Revenue Cycle Application Analyst

ACS Healthcare Solutions Outsourcing specializes in managing IT organizations for healthcare providers nationwide. This position for a Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst is located in Fond du Lac, WI. Candidates who are local to the area or will relocate will be considered. This is a direct, fulltime, non-travel career opportunity.

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst duties and responsibilities include:

MAJOR AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

The primary function of this position is to work with the client’s departments to support a full suite of Cerner Millennium applications, other legacy applications and technological solutions to meet the goals of the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate and complete user requests for building/coding, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of the revenue cycle system applications. The revenue cycle analyst makes application processing and design recommendations both within the Revenue Cycle team and to application users in the hospital.

Evaluate and apply version upgrades and patches as appropriate.

Act as a liaison between vendors and client
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
At least 3 year’s work experience with implementing and supporting enterprise wide applications such as Cerner, IDX, Meditech, Siemens, McKesson, Epic, etc. Preference will be given to candidates with Cerner experience, especially Cerner ProFit, Charge Services or ProFile modules.
Experience as a systems and/or support analyst including both implementation and ongoing support.
Experience supporting financial systems in a healthcare environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) as well as excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with solid problem solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with both non-technical and technical staff and vendors.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to use intermediate and advanced functions of the standard Microsoft Office Suite and Visio. Must be able to understand basic components of Microsoft Project.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in educational and/or work experience.
