National Distributor of books, movies, and music has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Sales Rep/Retail Merchandiser who lives in the following areas:

*Greenbelt, MD
*College Park, MD


JOB DESCRIPTION: A Sales Rep/Merchandiser is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent rapport with store managers and associates, and will be negotiating with store managers for additional floor space for promotional items. He/she will be taking inventory, ordering (product is direct-shipped to the store), setting up displays, stocking, and completing all paperwork associated with their departments/products. On average, a Sales Rep/Merchandiser works 45 hours +/- per week (Working occasional Saturdays is required.) Hours will increase during the 4th quarter.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, be outgoing with friendly personalities, should project a professional demeanor and appearance, and possess strong organizational skills. This is a physical job. You need to be able to lift 50 pounds. You will be bending, stretching, and lifting while you move your product, and you will get dirty. We will conduct a criminal background check, motor vehicle report, reference checks, and a drug screen (hair test) as a pre-requisite to hiring.



REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. We prefer you have experience in Management, Merchandising, and/or Retail Sales.
