Recycling Technician Starting Salary $11.28 New Castle The purpose of this position is to maintain the Recycle Delaware sites in a clean and safe manner. Some of the major duties include cleaning the Recycle Delaware containers, removing unwanted items left at the sites, maintaining daily logs, installing signs, etc. when required and maybe required to assist in the collection of curbside recyclables Minimum Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid class "D" Delaware Driver's License, ability to work independently, ability to work a rotating schedule (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays), ability to move heavy objects, ability to use small hand tools and lawn equipment to perform minor repairs and daily upkeep of Delaware Recycle sites, self motivated, good driving record, ability to remove heavy items left at sites, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and ability to read road maps and navigate Delaware roads.
