RF Test Engineer to join MKS Instruments!!!

The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for conceiving, designing, and implementing both manual custom fixtures and fully automated test equipment. They will work closely with design engineering, manufacturing, customers and program management to define test strategies, implement testability and deliver solutions.
Additionally, this position will support new product introductions and sustaining product testing and work with design and manufacturing engineering on manufacturability and testability issues.

Candidates must have an intense customer focus and be able to satisfy both internal and external customer requirements. Experience with Labview and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is very desirable as is experience with RF power supply testing or design, knowledge of Lean manufacturing and mistake-proofing techniques. Quality system, tools, and SPC knowledge is a plus.

•Establish testing strategy.
•Define RF equipment testing methods for both in-house use and external suppliers.
•Lead and implement product testing both in-house and for external suppliers.
•Design and procure test systems.
•Create and procure tools and fixtures for testing.
•Create set-up and test procedures for testing.
•Assure test system and related equipment is calibrated.
•Document test systems, tools and fixtures.
•Perform test system preventative maintenance.
•Participate in designs and provide DFT input.
•Cost reduction analysis.
•Implement continuous improvements in manufacturing support product testing activities in manufacturing, repair area, and suppliers.
•Update manufacturing routings & labor standards.
Requirements:
•BSEE and strong technical background in RF, analog/digital circuit test design, measurement methodologies and test equipment for module and system level testing.
•8+ years experience on RF system integration and test to verify product and process compliance to specification during both design and manufacturing.
•Knowledge of manufacturing and test processes and protocols for module and system assembly.
•Hands-on capability with good knowledge of hand tools and test techniques to provide mechanical and electrical floor support.
