Project Manager Responsibilities
§ Immediate responsibilities: Manages the development of a master data set (reference data) of customers
§ Establishes relationships and negotiate with data vendors and providers
§ Defines, plans, coordinates, controls and reviews all business intelligence-related project activities
§ Identifies resources needed and assigns tasks with appropriate durations.
§ Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope
§ Effectively applies our methodology and enforces documentation standards
§ Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
REQUIREMENTS
Data Architect Responsibilities
§ Develops strategy around master data management (MDM)
§ Guides the organization’s data-related efforts around the business intelligence practice
§ Advises and monitors use of specified data management technologies
§ Helps to develop an overall data infrastructure to address both identified and potential organizational needs.
§ Assists in the development of logical and physical data models
§ Designs, documents and assists in the development of business processes and interfaces to facilitate data movement between various applications and data repositories.
§ Participates in developing consistent definitions for common reference data – establish data dictionary and metadata.
§ Establishes measures to chart progress related to completeness and quality of identified enterprise information, to support reduction of data redundancy and fragmentation, elimination of unnecessary movement of data, and improvement of data
