Project Architect/Job Captain

Purpose: Aerotek is in immediate need of a Project Coordinator to work in the Hartford, CT area. The qualified individual will be responsible for:

- The ideal candidates for this position will normally be a graduate candidate seeking to become a registered Architect or a degreed Engineer who is seeking Professional Registration
- Candidates should already have acquired the requisite 1000/hrs of Design experience, in order to become accredited, as the company does not perform Design services.
- Candidates for this position are generally architects in training seeking practical, hands-on experience in architecture and construction.
- Working under the guidance of professional architects and engineers, project coordinators assist in the review and evaluation of existing buildings and new construction projects.
- The job involves field observations, condition assessment surveys, plan reviews, and cost evaluations of new and existing construction.
- The ideal candidate has an interest in construction, an understanding of building materials and methods, strong organizational skills, some practical experience in an architecture or construction-related field, and MS Word and Excel skills.
