Proj. Architects/Job Captains/CADD Drafters

Strollo Architects Incorporated, an Orlando-based architectural design firm with a focus on public sector architecture is looking for experienced professionals to join our team as soon as possible. The following positions are currently available: ARCHITECT: Responsibilities: Include the preparation and completion of architectural design and construction documents for our institutional, federal, and school projects under the direction of our Principal-in-Charge. As you progress in your development with the firm additional responsibilities will be assigned to keep you challenged as well as expand your knowledge base. Requirements: 5 or more years of experience in an Architect's office in a design and technical production role. Proficient with AutoCAD, Illustrator, and MS Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. Registration as a professional Architect in the state of Florida as a minimum. JOB CAPTAIN: Responsibilities: Include coordinating project production, supervision of drafting staff members, ability to have client contact and assisting internally with construction administration services. Requirements: 5 or more years of experience in a similar role. Proficient with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. INTERN ARCHITECT: Responsibilities: Include completing architectural designs and drawings under the direction of our Senior Design Architect. Working with consulting engineering disciplines to ensure quality control. Conduct field surveys to verify as-built conditions and code compliance. Requirements: A BS in Architecture. 2 to 5 years experience in an Architect's office in a design and/or technical production role. Excellent initiative, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient with AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. ARCHITECTURAL CADD TECHNICIAN: Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation of architectural deign and construction documents. Working under the direction of a Project Architect. Requirements: 3 or more years of experience in a similar role. Proficient with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. Registration as a professional Architect as a minimum.
