Program Manager Software Engineer

As a Software Engineering Program Manager for UGS, you will, under supervision from the Development Director, oversee/manage the project management and daily operations of “Teamcenter” development programs, ensuring compliance with standards, processes, policies and requirements. You will also assist in coordinating engineering priorities and product planning and evaluate and prioritize requests for product deliverables. Additionally you will generate product development timetables and roadmaps to meet identified requirements and time frames. In this role you will work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. In addition, you will act as a technical advisor for specific products and may lead a small team either directly or by specific initiative assignment.

This individual who is the right fit for this role will be a self-starter and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple development and product managers in the coordination and development of schedules and plans with little day to day direction.
Requirements

We require knowledge of PDM and/or PLM development, enterprise-class software development processes, and strong negotiation skills is a plus. Additionally, we require a Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience and thorough technical knowledge of company products is highly desirable. You must have previous experience with gathering data, consolidating and analyzing information and preparing reports in multiple formats – and skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
