Production Engineer - wireless data device

We are looking for technical production/mechanical engineers with experience devloping and manufacturing wireless data products like BlackBerrys, Palm Treo, Motorola Q etc. Primary responsibility would be to be the primary POC between the Solution Technology R&D team and our Boca Raton based contract manufacturer and specific component suppliers. Tasks include: Create/revise detailed product Bill of Materials Document and implement test plans and Engineering change orders As required, assist in the development of factory test and troubleshooting processes to the system board level. Job duties also include hardware and software product testing and quality assurance, dealing with contract manufacturers, and troubleshooting customer related product issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: Experience in introducing new wireless handset products into contract manufacturing environment. Must be able to test and troubleshoot PCBs down to component level. Must have prior experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes. Must be able to accurately and quickly document production issues and testing in an organized manner. Previous test experience is a plus. Project management skills is a plus. Working knowledge of production of SMT component assembly lines and multi-layer PCBs.
