Production Designer

Xpressdocs is the leading digital marketing platform for variable data direct marketing products. The Xpressdocs Creative Department seeks an entry-level production designer to provide design support for a fast paced and highly technical, variable data digital press environment.
REQUIREMENTS
This position will require knowledge of specific graphics applications on a Macintosh platform. Designer will be responsible for creation/re-design with tight turnaround times and strict deadlines. Demonstrated success in the graphic design or design production industry for a minimum of 2-5 years required.

Candidates must be proficient with a Web Based workflow, must demonstrate a strong pattern of success/knowledge in:

• Mac OS X platform
• Quark Xpress
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator


Knowledge of DesignMerge helpful as well as standard office software Excel, Word. Candidate must be able to multi-task, handle several large projects at once, communicate well with others, work independently with little supervision, and be very detail oriented. Candidate must also be able to learn quickly in a highly technical environment and possess a helpful, customer service attitude and a great sense of humor.
