Product Manager - Gifts & Decorative Home

- Acquire, license or develop all new Gifts & Home Decoration items that meet/exceed all key performance indicators i.e. sales, margin, product threshold, cube, return-to-vendor privilege, etc. This will include trend show shopping and market shopping.
- Execution of new products by working with other departments including Design and Supply Chain (for cost targets and product execution).
- Manage the Gift and Home Décor business
- Follow through on all product development projects with vendors, Supply Chain, Design, R&D, etc.
- Create product names and work with legal for approval.
- Execute Creative briefs for brochure and follow through with review and approvals for all Marketing materials.
- Develop Quarterly and Annual Plans to include Sales, Margins, SKU’s, concepts, and point of view.
- Monitor and report on competitive landscape.
- Collect and prepare internal/external data to perform ongoing historical analysis of the business, SKU’s, and trends.
- Analyze and update business and marketing plans on a regularly basis.
- Manage cross-category/cross functional projects in support of marketing, product development, sales and supply chain initiatives.
- Maintain and manage costs, margin, flow, inventory and size of line for all categories.
- Create, turnover and maintain marketing profiles/spec sheets for all products.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. degree with 5+ years experience in Marketing, Retail or related field. Experience in Giftware & Home products preferred.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes Profiling and other Avon systems such as IMIS, Datamart and eProfile.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to prioritze, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organization and follow-ups skills, detail oriented.
- Cross functional skill set (Merchandising, Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, PLC, Field, Creative) with ability to lead/manage team operations.
