The Applied Technologies Group C4I Division of M.C. Dean, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Process and Requirements Engineer. The mission of the Applied Technologies Group (ATG) C4I Division, as part of M.C. Dean Inc., is to provide capability assurance for special operational environments through Strategic Consulting, Operations Automation, and Capability Implementation services. Our unique service offering positions the C4I Division as the definitive source for the understanding, development, and delivery of next generation C4I—Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence. The C4I Division operates between the M.C. Dean headquarters and our Washington, D.C. office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Process & Requirements Engineer is responsible for supporting the organization in process and requirements development, implementation and planning. The engineer will manage process initiatives on individual projects as well as provide direction to the C4I staff through participation in a Process Improvement Group. The engineer will spearhead requirements management activities through a project lifecycle, supporting configuration control, change management and design reviews. The Process and Requirements engineer is expected to communicate, coordinate, document and understand multi-disciplinary information.
SPECIFIC TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Aide in the development and implementation of business processes to support CMMI compliance
Monitor and Assist Project Managers in defining project planning and control parameters
Assist in developing efficiency in engineering processes through project planning, configuration management and requirements development.
Coordinate requirements management, configuration management and change management for specific projects
Perform Specification development involving requirements analysis, flow-down and allocation
Lead Process Improvement Group
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS REQUIRED
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet requirements to access classified information
BS Industrial or Systems Engineering
Professional etiquette and ability to interact with technicians, professionals and executives in both industry and government.
Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills
