Overview:
The Analog processes being developed at the Arlington facility are leading edge. Recently the VIP50 process has been nominated by EDN in two categories: Innovation of the Year and Analog IC of the Year. This position has the opportunity for industry wide recognition through the development of the process technology.

The development organization has several leading technologists recognized for their device and integration skills. Several patents have been generated by this development organization. This position will augment the overall development organization and the individual will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best and from cross-functional organizations.

The architectures and unit process are unique and challenging. They represent a strategic enabler for National’s success. The position is critical and highly visible. The individual can also play a key role in the conversion of the Arlington plant to 200mm equipment / wafers. The individual will be developing state-of-the-art Analog process technology and will have the opportunity to generate patents and papers. The technology is groundbreaking and recognized in the industry as leading edge. The individual will be an integral part of the world-wide technology organization and be exposed to many different processes other than the ones being developed at the Arlington facility.

Description of Duties:

This position will work with process engineers on the development and characterization of unit processes and the subsequent integration of processes and modules into process flows. Will be responsible for the development of the manufacturing infrastructure necessary for the integration of processes and the deployment into manufacturing. The individual will manage projects in a cross functional team environment; therefore, excellent verbal and written communication and team skills are required. Specific tasks within this position will include:

Design of Experiments and process characterization
Overseeing equipment start-up, characterization, qualification, release to manufacturing and PFMEA generation
Generation of process roadmaps
Documentation of work and formal presentations to management
Education: BS or MS in EE, Chem. Eng, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience Preferred:

Ten or more years experience in the Semiconductor industry 200mm wafer production of 0.35um or smaller feature size Bipolar, CMOS, DMOS or BiCMOS architectures. High volume manufacturing Unit process knowledge in the following areas: Dielectrics, Metal Dep, Photo, Etch, and CMP
