Prepress Technician – Dallas, Tx

A Consolidated Graphics company in Dallas, TX is searching for an experienced Prepress Technician.

Opportunity
Produce materials for offset & digital print reproduction; determines prepress requirements; prepares printing plates; maintains quality results; obtains preps layout approval; initiates printing production; maintains prepress files; keeps equipment operating; updates job knowledge; accomplishes organization goals.


Graphic Skills
Experience in all aspects of PC/MAC-based digital pre-press (including advanced file troubleshooting, preflight, color correction, file manipulation, scanning, rips, and file transfer) within an entirely digital workflow.

Software
Proven experience across both PC & Mac platforms in the use of Indesign, Quark Xpress, Adobe Creative Suites, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Preps imposition software.

Candidates must have experience at least 5 years of prepress experience in printing facility, must have positive attitude, and be a team player. Strong verbal and written communication. Must be a hard worker, be able to contribute to a team environment, and be willing to see a project through completion.
