Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer

As a Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer, you will use AutoCAD to design plumbing & fire protection systems, which include piping , hot and cold water systems, fire sprinkler and sanitary & storm systems for schools, high-rise residential & hospitality, government buildings, healthcare, and other large commercial projects. You will work closely with other team members, vendors, and clients in producing final drawings.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will possess 3 to 6 years experience drafting and designing plumbing & fire protection systems in an A/E environment. High School diploma or recognized equivalent required. AA/AS degree and/or technical certifications in mechanical design preferred. Must have basic knowledge of applicable codes and general engineering practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Demonstrated commitment to quality service and engineering for internal/external clients are expected. Strong AutoCAD skills required to succeed. Healthcare experience preferred.
