PDMS Designer

This is a one year temporary assignment.Responsible for developing the PDMS 3D model, while interfacing with lead designer, engineers, plant personnel, fabricators and vendors. Ensures project area or responsibility is in alignment with industry standards. Utilizes project standards and procedures. Coordinates model reviews of area of responsibility. Prepares personal design hour and cost estimates for PDMS model; develops and delivers to lead designer. Documents and reports problems appropriately. Skilled in PDMS Design Module used for 3D modeling of equipment and discipline specific i.e. piping, steel and concrete, electrical, instrumentation, supports, hanger, HVAC. Extremely proficient in the operation and manipulation of the draft and review design modules. Requires project design experience with working knowledge of databases, PDMS, Cats and Specs. CAD and MS Office applications experience such as Excel and Word required. Associates degree or experience required.
REQUIREMENTS
One position is for Process Designer - PDMS CATS & SPECS and the other is for a Lead PDMS Designer. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Years of experience 10- 15.
