Oracle Applications Functional Analyst

Job Summary:
The Oracle Application Functional Analyst is responsible for providing functional supports for the analysis, development, maintenance, and modifications of enterprise-wide ERP and CRM business applications utilizing Oracle E-Business Suite. A strong background in end-user support and in-depth functional knowledge of several of the Oracle modules, particularly Financial, Inventory and Order Management, are required for this position.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Analyze, design and develop enterprise-wide application functional solutions to meet the business and users requirements.

2.Evaluate user and departmental requests, gather business requirements and prepare Change Request documents.

3.Investigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options. These solutions could include modifications to the set up and configuration of existing modules, enhancements to modules, and/or implementation of new Oracle modules.

4.Provide functional support and training for all Oracle Apps end-users.

5.Work with end-users, other IT technical resources and/or Oracle Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues.

6.Perform configuration and setup work to support new and existing functionality; function as resident team expert for all configuration issues within their areas of expertise.

7.Design, plan and conduct functional testing. Develop and maintain test scenarios for project team and end users.

8.Recommending the best practices to the management to increase efficiency and functionality.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Skills/Abilities:
1.Strong backgrounds and hands-on experience with Oracle ERP modules that include Financial, Order Management, Shipping Execution, Inventory, Bill-Of-Material, Costing and Advanced Pricing.

2.Solution design experience. Strong Oracle Apps modules understanding and interactions between modules (process workflows / various set-up options available inside Oracle Apps).

3.Ability to design and create custom FSG Financial reports.

4.Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and manage activities.

5.Ability to work with, and through, others to achieve desired results.

6.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

7.Good oral/written communication and organization skills.

Job Requirements:
1.Minimum of 4 years of Oracle Apps Functional hands-on experience in ERP modules listed above.

2.Minimum of 5 years experience in functional business analysis, application implementation and end-user support.

3.Working knowledge of Oracle Discoverer.

4.Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT-related field.

5.Experience with additional Oracle Apps CRM modules such as Telesales, Marketing Online, Incentive Compensation, Business Intelligent Dash Board, and Data Quality Management (DQM) is a plus.

6.Requires flexible working hours as necessary.
