As an Oracle Application Database Administrator, you will:Be responsible for overall database design, including table structure, stored procedures and triggersBe the gatekeeper for database changesBe responsible for transfer/manipulation of code domain dataBe responsible for scripting and manipulation of reference dataProvide ownership, implementation and administration of logical and physical data models in OracleMonitor and tune database performance during design and testing phase, including Performance optimization of databasesProvide metrics analysis for capacity planningPossess an understanding of connectivity of database with middle layerDefine, clarify, set and train on standards for implementing the Enterprise Data Architecture vision Mentor, coach and knowledge transfer for developers and data modelers, while providing links between data management and architectsResolve pre-production database environment support issues
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field4+ years Database Server experience with Oracle databases3+ years experience in database design, data modeling and analysis4+ years experience in the development and maintenance of SQL stored procedures3+ years experience in database optimization techniques (index and stored procedure tuning) 4+ years experience using triggers and viewsSkills in scripting and manipulating dataStrong Multi-tasking skillsMust be detailed oriented and able to meet customer and project management deadlines Proven written and oral communication skills You'll receive great benefits, too--health and life insurance, 401K plan, medical savings account, vacation, personal days, and more.
