BLACK ENTERPRISE, the foremost multi-product Company assisting minorities to build financial empowerment and professional development, seeks a mature, proven Online Producer.The Online Producer will work with Interactive Media Editor to program and carry out daily site updates to ensure freshness and relevance of blackenterprise.com. The producer will assist in the content management, development and appearance of the website. Producer will help conceptualize and execute online programming packages that include text, audio and video. Candidate will be able to effectively re-purpose editorial from Black Enterprise Magazine for the interactive medium. Responsibilities will also include monitoring and maintaining community aspects of the site including blogs, polls and networking portal. Producer will also support interactive sales initiatives by assisting in conception and creation of creating compelling graphical presentations, banner and message unit ads and micro-sites for both internal use and posting online. Ideal candidate must be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified applicants will have 3+ years of professional content production experience for an information oriented websiteExperience with HTML is required and knowledge of XHTML, CSS, FLASH and other interactive programming languages will be an additional advantage.
Ability to work with content management systems and other electronic publishing tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator is required
Must be a creative thinker who can take in idea from conception to completion.Strong interpersonal skills are required as the right candidate will be working with all levels of employees
Ability to adapt and respond to competing priorities
Excellent oral and written communications skills
