PennWell Corporation is seeking an Online Editor for Fire Engineering magazine. The position will have primary responsibility for all web site content management, including daily news/photo postings, webcasts, e-newsletters and training seminars. The Online Editor will work with original and third-party content and use CMS and HTML and HTML conversion software.

Pennwell is a well respected publisher of 40 plus technical magazines, book publishing, global industry specific professional technical events, as well a numerous digital media products and much more.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong writing/editing skills required. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree andyears of editorial experience, including at least 3 years in website content management.

Skills Required:

Adobe Acrobat Professional to create and edit PDF files
Basic HTML coding and programming
Photoshop
HTML editors such as Microsoft FrontPage
Third-party CMS tools
