OFF Shift Software/Web Server Support

Web based manufacturing company has 2nd and 3rd shift TECHNICAL SUPPORT openings.

*Serve as the first point of contact providing support to clients via phone or email.
*Support inquiries require approximately 50% phone work with problem identification, testing and tracking for problem resolution and 50% research.
*Apply strong technical, communication and customer service skills to resolve incoming customer/client support calls.
*Demonstrate a professional phone manner with a customer-focused attitude toward issue resolution.
*Assist in maintaining internal support systems and tools.
*Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks/activities and meet customer expectations.
*Assume ownership of all customer calls assigned.
*Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including call tracking database entry, information sharing when necessary, and customer communication.
*Ability to communicate to customers with courtesy and a sense of urgency to achieve customer satisfaction.
*Utilize multiple internal systems as well as web content to research and apply known solutions.
*Log and track customer call information and troubleshooting activity in a call tracking system.
*Maintain strong self-organization and follow up skills to ensure appropriate case handling activities through to closure of each reported issue.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience.

**Required experience in administration and/or troubleshooting of; Windows NT/2000 Server, Solaris, HPUX, Linux, SQL, Oracle, Bybase, IIS, iPlanet, Apache, Internet (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, FTP, E-mail), SQL Server and MS Office.

**Strong web server experience and a working knowledge of networking required.

**Experience with Web servers installation and administration.
Solid understanding of UNIX administration and Windows applications.
**Multiple databases, multiple language experience preferable.
A self-starter, highly motivated, and have the ability to multitask problems, and manage time wisely.
**Must be flexible, able to function in high-stress situations, with a work ethic that demonstrates a what ever it takes to get the job done attitude.
**Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential.
