Network Engineer

We are currently looking for a NETWORK ENGINEER to support our Huntsville, Alabama facility!


The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Client consultation

- Data processing management in design and implementation of new or modified telecommunication networks

- Support the designing of networks and lead the implementation processes

- Coordinate supplies, contractors and operations

- Monitor operation of networks and systems to ensure proper utilization of lines, hardware and software

- Tune networks for optimal system performance

- Serve as the point of escalation for complex problem resolution - Tier 3 support

- Interpret diagrams in order to affect problem resolution

- Test and verify changes to ensure changes occur without interruption
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years preferred of telecommunications and networking

- CCNA required, CCNP a plus

- Cisco CSS and Cisco Cache Engine experience

- In depth knowledge of routing protocols (RIP, RIP2, EIGRP, ISIS, BGP and OSPF)

-In depth knowledge of WCCP

-Telecommunication systems, network, TCPIP, sniffer technologies

-Cisco or foundry experience

-Networking routing protocols, Cisco TACACS (ACS)
