Network Administrator / Engineer

Classification: Contract to Full Time Robert Half Technology has an exciting opportunity and has been retained to hire a Network Administrator/Engineer with 3+ years of experience.Duties include but are not limited to:• Administering and supporting within a Windows 2000/2003 server environment.• Experience working within the Medical Industry a plus.• Administering and supporting Windows Exchange 2000/2003 servers.
• Utilization of Active Directory in geographically dispersed environments.• Proficient ice with the configuration of Cisco Routers and Switches.• Core knowledge base of TCP/IP, SMB, NFS, IPSEC, SSL, RDP, Thin Client and VPN protocols required.• Telecommunication knowledge is a real plus!• Requires knowledge of IP addressing, subnet masks, and gateways.
• NAT translation.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of authentication methods such as radius, LDAP, SSO beneficial.• Implements and maintains integrated network architectures for medium-to-large computer systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.• Knowledge and understanding of a range of networking and voice software and hardware systems and related technologies.• Ability to install, configure, and maintain voice systems, networks, and/or related hardware and software.• Knowledge of network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.• Ability to implement and maintain multiple projects.• Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.• Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
