.NET/C# Developer

COMSYS is searching for a local .NET/C# Developer for a long term contract (3-5+ years in length) with one of our current clients in the St. Louis, MO area. We can only consider candidates that can work on a W-2 basis with COMSYS. This person will assist in the design, and development, efforts to implement cross functional and integrated solutions within a shared environment. These applications will support the clients Purchasing department.

Primary responsibilities for this position are: modify existing ASP.NET/Classic ASP/VB 6.0 applications, complete project application/change control documentation as needed, handle support responsibilities for existing applications and work in a team environment on user interface ideas/requirement clarification/assist in deployment activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates interested in this opportunity will need to meet the following requirements: 3+ years of .NET/C# development experience (also ASP.NET experience), 3+ years of .NET VB development experience and 3+ years of experience analyzing required changes to existing applications. Having experience with Oracle 9i would be extremely helpful as well. Also candidates will need to have good verbal/written skills, the ability to work in a team environment, solid organizational skills and knowledge/experience using standard development.
