Covansys, a leading global IT consulting firm, has requirements for .Net Architects. Core requirements: § 7+ years of experience in IT industry § Solid experience with .NET framework, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#, preferably in .NET 2.0 § Ability to conceive, design and implement large-scale ASP.NET and Windows Forms projects § Ability to work with clients to understand business requirements and implement them § Sound knowledge in architecting, designing and implementing SOA and Web Services based projects § Hands-on experience in using design patterns and application blocks such as Enterprise Library from Microsoft § Experience in any other Microsoft server technologies such as SharePoint server, BizTalk server, Content Management Server is desirable § Experience/exposure to the SQL Server 2005, BizTalk 2006, Visual Studio 2005 Team System is a big plus § Experience/exposure to Indigo (Windows Communications Foundation) and Avalon (Windows Presentation Foundation) a big plus § Experience with Identity management, Active Directory (AD and ADAM) and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) desirable § Experience in any design tools such as Rational Rose/XDE, Visio for Architects is desirable § Knowledge of software development methodologies § Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines Certification: § Microsoft certifications such as MCSD.NET or MCAD.NET are highly desirable. § Certifications in other Microsoft server technologies such as SharePoint, BizTalk is a plus PLEASE NO CORP TO CORP RESUMES; THIS IS AN EMPLOYEE POSITION.
