NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – ONLINE VIDEO

A fast-growing client, based in Madison, Wisconsin, has retained our firm to conduct a search for a proven, successful Account Executive to help continue their significant sales growth in the Internet, on-line, media advertising field. This company is a respected national leader in their industry because of the quality of their product offerings. Over the past two years, they have experienced 70% annual sales growth. The explosion of people going on-line for information, combined with the right content, is helping fuel this growth.

The Account Executive will be selling a system to provide customized informational content to broadcast media partners nationwide. The content involved has proven to be a very effective marketing tool to attract people to the website of the media partner, significantly increasing the number of “hits and clicks” and a return to that site on a regular basis.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate needs to show a documented and sustained track record of closing new sales. We are looking for the hunter or closer, not the relationship builder. A background in business-to-business media or advertising would certainly be a plus but selling other types of intangibles (services) would be considered. This person also must be able to travel, primarily by air to other cities, about 40% of the time. The position is based in Madison, WI.
