Motivated Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Specialist

Position Overview
Are you a highly energetic and innovative individual up for the challenge of rejuvenating a traditional, yet impermeable industry? As the Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for taking a leadership role in the design, development, and testing of an advanced warehouse reporting and business intelligence project. Working directly with key clients, you will manage the entire implementation lifecycle, project plan, and project deliverables.

You will be based in Boston, MA working at one of our key clients. Once your role on that project is complete you may be assigned to another consulting team elsewhere in the United States, or you may be assigned to another project in Boston. 100% travel and/or temporary relocation to another location for future project assignments may be required. Temporary or permanent relocation is available for this position if you live out of the state of Massachusetts.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience and Skills needed for success
BS in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related field
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Immediate authorization to work in the US
5+ years relevant work experience in an IT consulting environment, particularly in a leadership role on a data warehouse/OLAP project
Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages
Solid data warehousing skills
Prior OLAP and Business Intelligence experience
Familiarity will all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Professional business demeanor
Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
Willingness to travel up to 100%

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Hummingbird BI
Technical writing experience
Government consulting experience, especially with Tax & Revenue systems
