Classification: Consulting This position requires the ability to: assess, design, plan, implement, document, support, monitor, and troubleshoot operations and application issues across the following areas:
Windows 2000/3, Active Directory design, configuration, and administration.
Server and workstation security and performance patching.
Security configurations for Microsoft-based servers and services.
MS Exchange 2003 installation, performance tuning, administration, clustering/replication.
SMTP services including proactive anti-spamming, virus control and prevention.
External and internal DNS for production, and disaster recovery environments.
Shared application and data file management.
Performance tuning of authentication replication and applications across a WAN.
MS LAN Printing Services.
Microsoft applications databases and services.
Server and service failover, clustering and replication.
Disaster Recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
