Microsoft Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator who has a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the latest SQL technologies including MS SQL, Reporting and Analysis Services, Replication and Performance Monitoring. This past experience must be with high production, enterprise level environments utilizing large databases in multi server settings.

The candidate's responsibilities will include: security, configuration, stored procedures, log shipping, performance analysis, tuning, optimization and design.

Additional Requirements:

* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose database issues using appropriate monitoring and diagnostic tools.
* Strong understanding of database security and user access models.
* Knowledge of SQL Server analysis and reporting services.
* Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in all phases of database design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
* Self motivated with excellent communication and collaborative team skills, ability to problem solve and to work independently with minimal supervision.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is desired or, in lieu of a degree, an outstanding track record would be acceptable. Excellent references and a history of job stability are required. Starting salary for this position ranges from $90-100k depending on qualifications and experience.
