Mechanical Design Drafter

Utilize Solidworks software to draft mechanical equipment and components. Prepare technical drawings and specifications of mechanical systems to insure that installation and operation conform to standards and customer requirements.Work under the supervision of mechanical project engineers to design and detail mechanical components for Robotic welding equipment.Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other technical personnel to identify and solve developmental problems.Prepare technical reports and related documentation for mechanical systems.Some assembly of prototype and R&D related projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of technical plans and blueprints.
3 to 5 years 3-D drafting (Solidworks or equivalent) experience required.
Product and/or machine design experience preferred.
Minimum AS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent BSME a plus.
