McCauley Propeller Systems - Design/MRB Engineer

Job Description:
Responsible for the design, development, and production of propeller systems, control systems, and components for new or existing aircraft applications. Coordinate introduction of new products or changes to existing designs with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Reliability, Supply Chain, and Marketing to assist with incorporation and flow into production. Insure proper documentation of parts. Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and vendors to attain corrective actions to reduce future deviations. Work with Quality Control and Inspection to insure that part deviations are properly documented, meeting Company policies and all applicable government regulations. Recommend and promote corrective action from Manufacturing, Quality Control, vendors and Engineering. Prepare written reports recommending areas of potential improvement or change. Be knowledgeable about design fits, product functions and manufacturing processes.
REQUIREMENTS
BSME or BSAE degree required with minimum of three years manufacturing experience. Knowledge of structural analysis, vibration measurement and finite element analysis capability is preferred. Previous Catia V5 and PIOS experience preferred. Email your resume to: [Click here for email]Posted 8/4/06
