A manager in the Information Dynamics practice is expected to have the following overall IT and consulting expertise:
 
        Experience building  and managing workplans for medium/large scale technology projects
        Lead and develop statements of work and/or client proposals
- Provide technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention for all data sources
- Provide oversight support to the development team
- Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of enterprise data

- Proactively identify follow on opportunities on the engagement
- Experience managing and resolving project issues and mitigating risk
 
In addition, managers in the Information Dynamics - Master Data Management practice must have the following management/strategy capabilities and technical skills.
 
Management/Strategy Capabilities
 
- Experience planning and leading master data management initiatives
- Experience dealing with issues of data ownership, governance, and process change to define master data management strategies
- Identify opportunities to optimize performance of existing data structures through master data utilization
- Understanding of the benefits of master data and its relationship with business processes and applications
- Experience creating processes for capturing , defining and documenting master data standards and models
- Experience defining master data acquisition, propagation, and access strategy

Provide expertise in information enrichment, information access and information distribution activities
- Design and implement data quality and data auditing processes for master data environments
- Develop strategies and implementation plans for master data environments
- Identify and implement master data archival strategy
 
 
Technical Skills
 
- Proficient with master data management tools from vendors such as Kalido, Oracle, BEA, IBM and SAP
- Experience leading projects that involve acquisition, distribution, and management of master data entities
- Experience creating mappings to access, extract and propagate master data
- Proficient in market leading ETL tools such as Informatica and Ascential
- Proven ability to architect an ETL solution in a master data environment
- Define areas of improvement to optimize data flows using master data
- Experience leading efforts involving importing data from multiple source
systems and propagating to multiple target systems
- Understanding of API protocols
- Knowledgeable of data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions in a master data environment involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching
- Good understanding of multidimensional model, logical and physical models design and data types
- Proficient in one or more of major data modeling tools such as Erwin, Data Architect, Oracle Designer and their administration
 
Bachelor's Degree; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred; 6-10 years of relevant work experience
 
Candidates must be willing to travel nationally to client locations
