Immediate need for a Change Management Specialist for this contract that will last up to 2+ years. There are 2 openings for Change Management Specialist and 2 openings for CM Manager.
-Position:
Change Management Consultant (two openings – 1 immediate need)
Timeframe: Up to two years.
Purpose:
To support and accelerate the process of change and process improvement for Downstream-One US Integrated Finance Implementations (GSAP and non-GSAP) projects. Enable the project team to implement successful Finance projects, through aligned and motivated leadership and higher levels of staff mobilization.
Accountabilities:
This position will work with the Change Manager to develop and implement strategies and tactics that accelerate the organizational alignment, change and development for multiple business initiatives. The role also provides consultation and support to process improvement on a wide variety of continuous improvement efforts to enhance effectiveness and profitability of the business and ensure full utilization of resources available in the Finance Operations area through change management services, learning and development and team building. The individual will work with management to identify and implement projects and program that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
Project / End-User Related
•Prepare end users for upcoming changes in job roles and business processes as defined by Streamline, GSAP, and other standardization, stabilization projects.
•Develop effective Change Management activities to address concerns and fears of upcoming changes.
•Collaborate with Communications on identifying and addressing/mitigating “delta” issues versus new process issues.
•Assist in job role mapping, as requested, especially in regards to mapping newly defined roles to global training curriculum.
•Assist in identifying localization issues and collaborate with Communications and Training on effective activities, events, and communication vehicles.
•Assist in User Readiness activities including surveys, interventions, town hall meetings, etc.
•Develop and facilitate Change Agent Workshops (for project teams) and Fear Factor Mitigation workshops (for end users).
Project / Team Related
•Assist leadership in responding effectively to challenge of Global Deployment team steerage and local business needs implementation (i.e. Streamline and GSAP).
•Leverage project change tools and other change approaches to align leadership/employees/other stakeholders around project/program goals and deliverables.
•Assist leaders and teams with OE tools - change management, effective meetings, conflict management, coaching for performance, etc. with an objective of growing capability in these areas.
•Operate as a part of Global and Llocal Workstream teams as appropriate, maximizing and leveraging cross-team building and learnings.
Experience and Qualifications required
•Significant change management/OD/OE experience and familiarity and/or willingness to use specified change management approaches/tools
•Experience with consulting on and planning/facilitating work process simplification/re-design projects; understanding of principles of work process management (WPM)
•Experience with “whole systems” thinking in analyzing organizational problems and developing sustainable solutions; keen understanding of how to effect sustainable change in large organizations and experience doing so
•Resilience and persistence in driving change
•The ability to influence and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
•An ability to retain focus on the need for alignment balanced with client sensitivity
•Strong and proven delivery orientation
•Familiarity with management systems development and deployment
•Experience in/or Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service and Sales an advantage
