Job DescriptionThe Lead Architect will be responsible for the design, architecture and development of the infrastructure supporting customer facing web sites and its ongoing administration. This candidate will be charged with evaluation of the current technology stack and making recommendations towards a coherent, stable and scalable platform. The right candidate will have experience in creating and implementing a high-availability environment, supporting a complex infrastructure, and the integration of a heterogeneous technology environment. Attention to operational integrity, supportability and robustness is paramount. The candidate must be skilled in managing large scale initiatives that span department boundaries, provide technical leadership, develop and implement operational support model, including configuration management.The candidate must have a strong background in all phases of Consumer and Application Web Development using OO technologies in languages such as C#, C/C++ and/or Java. Also, extensive experience in data architecture and implementation is a plus. This includes strong knowledge of standards and experience in html, javascript, and css. This includes semantic html and javascript frameworks.

Integrates new technologies into the web environment; maintains cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility; investigates new architectures, Web features and tools which might be useful for expanding Solutions offerings
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
A high-energy self-starter who can manage the changing priorities of a fast-pace environment. Must be familiar with modern, iterative software design processes
Comfortable mentoring other programmers and providing technical leadership
Is capable of transferring knowledge to various audiences Possess strong knowledge of software life-cycles, software process management and improvement techniques Candidates must be an expert in HTTP standards, experienced with security protocols and web security issues; Web Administration and Integration is helpful Knowledge of the technology landscape and developing trends in the industry is required REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0%Equivalent of Technical bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of related professional experience. Technical master's degree preferred.
