Landscape Designer

Homestead Gardens, the largest independently-owned garden center in the East Coast has a unique opportunity for a Landscape Designer/Sales Person for its growing Landscaping Division. Our Landscaping Division services residential and commercial customers. Its reputation for great customer service and excellent quality of products is unparalleled. Some of our satisfied customers include the Orioles Park at Camden Yards and the City of Annapolis. We are located 20 minutes Southwest of Annapolis and 40 minutes from both Baltimore, Md. and Washington, D.C.

Some of the essential responsibilities of this job include the creation, development and implementation of landscape designs to meet the specific needs and requests of the landscape division customers. The selected individual will also design, sell and manage the installation of landscape projects from lead generation to completion, producing quality and timely designs which generate sales and increase the profitability of the Landscaping Division.

REQUIREMENTS
Strong sales and customer service skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously are required. Individual must also be available to work a flexible schedule in order to complete projects in a timely manner.

A degree in a landscape-related discipline is preferred. Minimum of three to five years directly related experience are required.
