Junior System Design Engineer

Purpose: A great opportunity available for a Junior System Design Engineer in Manhattan, NY. This great company is looking for a bright, enthusiastic Engineer who can make an immediate impact on their organization.

We are looking for engineers who can perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Required Skills:
At least 2 years of experience with CCTV, Access Control,, Intrusion Detection Systems, , Intercom and Paging systems, Fiber Optic communication, equipment (IFS), Digital, Video Recorders, Electronic, Sec Sys Integration, AutoCad,, Verbal/written communication
Desired Skills:
At least 2 years of experience with CCTV (Pelco), ACS (Lenel), , Microsoft Applications, Microstation, MS Visio, , MS Project, Design/Integration/Test of , COTS such as EMC, MS SQL, Oracle, and MS 2003 Server., MTA bridges/tunnels experienceClassification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
