You won't be pigeon holed; all developers are involved in all aspects of software development: including analysis, design, development, unit testing, code consolidation, and code maintenance.Additionally, there will be opportunities to work with design/analysis teams to create modules for new product types and help to provide strategies for Q/A testing.Also, creation of internal documentation for development while assisting a professional documentation expert with the end user documentation would be expected.
Software Developers at Perceptive Software demand excellence of themselves and their colleagues. You would join a team of highly skilled software developers with expertise with multiple languages (primarily C/C++) and client/server programming.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field, required.Experience developing industrial strength web-based client/server applications for MS Windows, Apple Macintosh, and/or Unix using Java, Swing, Applets, JSP/Servlets, Application Servers, HTML, JavaScript, and XML/XSLT.2-5 years developing windows applications required.Strong experience in object oriented design and programming with full software development life cycle.Familiarity with multiple hardware/software development environments, languages and technologies including MS Windows and Unix variants.Knowledge of relational databases.Experience with MS-SQL or Oracle databases, both high and low level programmatic integration, is highly desirable.Prior experience in a high volume consumer business a big plus.Priority will be given to resumes that arrive with information outlining programming abilities in Java.
