OVERVIEW:
As an affiliate of CompuCredit, a publicly traded (NASDAQ: CCRT) Atlanta, GA financial services corporation, CREDITLogistics provides software products to deliver custom credit solutions for businesses who need financing options for their customers while linking lenders with new markets to grow their current portfolios. Our premier software suite is a hosted, J2EE, web-based Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform that delivers functionality through configurable and modular services.
We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to serve as a J2EE Developer/Senior Developer. This person will be responsible for working directly within our core engineering group to design, develop and maintain our n-tier java-based enterprise web applications using SOA and best of breed J2EE frameworks, Oracle, TIBCO and workflow products.
REQUIREMENTS
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Developing software to specific design specifications and requirements.
• Designing J2EE business components, JSPs, data access objects, and service interfaces.
• Developing and executing unit test programs to ensure proper functionality and error handling.
• Participating in creating design and technical documentation.
• Participating in design and code reviews.
COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must have experience writing code with J2EE frameworks.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate a plus.
• Candidate must have experience with J2EE application
servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss etc.).
• Candidate must have experience with data and object oriented analysis modeling (ERD, UML etc.).
• Candidate must be able to design and develop JSPs, business components and data access components etc.
• Some experience with BPM technologies such as Tibco Staffware a plus.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
• Candidate must have a Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Candidate must have minimum 5+ years of design and development of large scale software systems using J2EE.
• Candidate must have 2+ years of EAI experience (web services, JMS etc).
• Candidate must be able to work independently when necessary.
• Proficient in following technologies; JSPs, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, XML, Web Services, JMS, Service interfaces.
• Candidate must be very proficient in J2EE technologies and frameworks.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
• Java developer certification a plus.
