JAVA DEVELOPER

The Nakoma group is currently looking for a Senior Level Java Developer for the Reston, VA area.

REQUIREMENTS
•Knowledge of struts framework or equivalent MVC frameworks
•Strong knowledge of java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC, and XML
•Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle 8i)
•Knowledge of WebSphere Application server 4.04 or equivalent
•Knowledge of WebSphere Studio Application Developer (or Eclipse) desired
•Work independently and with team members to build applications
•Responsible for unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing, QA and production verification testing
•Perform production builds, deploy applications to QA and production
•Knowledge of XSLT a plus
•Ability to work with both creative and technical teams to identify and solve site construction and design issues.
•Ability to monitor work on a daily basis through PVCS Tracker; frequently communicate status and issues to program manager
•Estimate work effort and communicate completion dates on SCRs
•Good written and oral communication skills
