J2EE Integration Developer - Navisys

As an application developer with the BPA team, support and maintain the Navisys System to meet the business needs. Partner with the Application Manager in designing solutions by taking part in requirements gathering, analysis, architecture and detail design documentation, technical specifications, coding, testing and implementation.

This full-time position requires a hands-on technical individual with a demonstrated expertise in J2EE development. Essential duties and responsibilities for this position include:

-Experience on large scale project implementations
-Performing highly complex troubleshooting activities requiring extensive research and analysis.
-Oncall support of the Navisys Application
-Providing technical support to key internal business areas and project mangers
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years full lifecycle application development with experience in a multi-tier web based environment. Experience with Object oriented design and analysis (UML)2+ years experience with JAVA/J2EE (Servlet, JavaScript, JSP ,HTML ,XML ,EJB , JMS) (XPATH experience preferred) At least two years experience supporting application processing in an on call role.

Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic or TomCatExperience with SQL and Oracle database programmingExperience with debugging, performance, and change management tools in an integrated environmentExperience with version control systems (Harvest, CVS,PVCS)
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skillsApplication Development Methodology experienceAbility to quickly learn new technologies and packaged applications.
