Internet Engineer, J2EE / UNIX / WebLogic Application Server

Job Duties May Include:
In a nutshell: An internal sr. consultant. You've got to know WebLogic 6.x / 7.x and J2EE. This position requires the ability to consult with development groups on J2EE architecture and deployment projects and issues. Assist in efforts to seamlessly deploy J2EE packages on WebLogic... a product that works consistently well within the WebLogic environment. You'll have to be experienced with the deployment of J2EE / Java apps. must be able to provide constructive feedback to both development and administration groups -- otherwise, in corporate terms:
Provide software/infrastructure/application development and architecture expertise with specific focus in the area of internet engineering and design.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate will be working with a group consistiting of many sub groups, which include software development, Infrastructure engineering, network engineering / traffic management, application support engineering, portal development and database management.
-BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience
-Experience with Java coding and J2EE architecture, J2EE deployment and management
- UNIX/Solaris Systems skills
- experience with Netscape Enterprise Server and/or iPlanet/SunOne
-BEA WebLogic Application Server 6.1 (a must), 7.0 & 8.0 (a plus)
-Knowledge of Trouble shooting Application servers(WAS)
-JavaScripting, Shell Scripting, Perl, HTML
-Website development packages a plus
-Knowledge of relational Databases such as Oracle (preferably 9i) or Sybase a plus but not necessary
