Intern Architect, Architecture

Opus Architects & Engineers (Opus A&E) is the multi-disciplined design firm of the Opus Group. We are experiencing exciting growth and have needs for Intern Architects.

This is an entry level position that is responsible for providing drafting support, developing skills and techniques and assisting with miscellaneous design and technical problems for all type of department documentation. This position is fully supervised in all tasks.

•Works effectively under the supervision of a Project Captain or Project Architect.

•Participates in production of portions of projects in all phases with all work to be reviewed by supervisor.

•Assists in the preparation of proposal and working documents, maintaining quantity, graphic quality, accuracy and completeness of work.

•Assists with minor problem solving efforts on assigned projects.

•Maintains adaptability in work activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related area plus zero (0) to four (4) years of experience in a directly related field with design/build and AutoCAD experience preferred. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with department, company and outside personnel.
