Interior Designer / Sales

Ethan Allen New Mexico seeks individual skilled in design and with past experience in sales for a full time position. The firm is the premier furniture store within the state of New Mexico. Position is five days per week with a day off on Tuesday. The store is closed each Sunday. Hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with one late night on Thursday, till 8:00 pm, every other week. Initial and continual training is provided. Position is salaried for the first four months and then transitions to commission.

Also included is participation in company matching 401K plan after first year. Health insurance is available after ninety days - the store pays 80% of the monthly premium.

REQUIREMENTS
Artistic and motivated individual who enjoys a retail environment. Ability to work with color, pattern, and floor plans. Past work experience within the design industry. Experience in a commercial or retail environment is a stong plus. Ability for organization and ability to work on ones own without extensive assistance. An individual who gets excited about helping people solve problems in a creative way.
