Interior Advanced Design/Research & Development Engineer

Job Description:
Primary responsibility is the development of marketing mockups. Additional duties include developing product floor plans, cost and weight targets for Advanced Design programs as well as researching new technologies as applied to interior components/systems. Requires internal/external supplier coordination during part design, development and fabrication. Hands-on support required during component assembly.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 8 years experience from one or more of the following disciplines: mechanical engineering design, manufacturing engineering and/or tooling engineering. Applicant should be highly motivated and capable of self-managing projects. Literacy in CATIA V4, V5 and Microsoft Office a must.
