Production Manager
Threespot's Production Manager is the central coordinator of all Threespot projects as they move from business development through discovery, design, development, and deployment. The Production Manager works closely with our client services, strategy, design, and technology teams to ensure agency-wide oversight of production, focusing primarily upon resource management for jobs currently in-house, as well as on resource planning for future business.

• Must have 2-4 years experience in production or traffic management at an interactive agency, or at a comparable agency that performs a substantial number of interactive projects.
• Possess a strong, working knowledge of all aspects of internet application and web site development processes and methodologies.
• Must be a strong written and oral communicator.
• Must possess superior people skills. The Production Manager works with many different personalities and styles, and must remain a calming, inspiring, but motivating influence to all.
• Must possess expert-level Microsoft Project skills.
• Must be exceedingly professional and dependable, while remaining personable and easy-going.
• This role is the very definition of detail-oriented. Extremely refined organizational skills are critical.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• PMP certification a plus.
Responsibilities
• Develop format for and maintain an active status report of all jobs and lead weekly meetings with department heads and client services staff to raise alerts as needed.
• Provide daily email reports on projects at risk, and proposed solutions, to Director of Delivery and affected department heads.
• Handle multiple schedules and track changes for multiple jobs (typically, 25-30 during any given week), ensuring all deliverables and deadlines are met on time.
• Work on a daily basis with Project Managers to monitor the movement of projects through the various phases of discovery, design, development, and deployment.
• React swiftly to problems as they occur; foresee and mitigate project risks before they happen.
• Develop and deliver a quarterly review of company productivity, indicating successes and trouble spots, and providing recommendations for any needed changes.
• Coordinate closely with business development staff and department heads to develop accurate, saleable estimates for proposals.
• Alongside department heads, manage and develop relationships with outside contractors for overflow work.
