Interactive Designer

Due to extensive growth and the rising need for internet technology within the nonprofit sector, Blackbaud's Professional Services division has an immediate need for an Interactive Designer. This position is located in Charleston, SC and engages with clients to facilitate the organization of information to help users effectively fulfill their information needs. The Interactive Designer works as part of our consulting team utilizing their technical skills to facilitate the building of Internet solutions for Blackbaud’s clients.
Responsibilities:

 
Developing an online visual design strategy that best represents Blackbaud’s clients
Producing site design concepts representing the structure, navigation, and visual elements of the site
Providing graphics production of site design elements and documentation REQUIREMENTS
At least two years as a traditional or interactive graphic designer
At least one year experience in Web design
Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator, HTML, Flash, SQL, and other technologies
A basic comprehension of information design
A general understanding of browser and design constraints associated with creating Web content
A demonstrably strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Web
A BFA/MFA in graphic design or related field
